One Week Old

Today the puppies are one week old. They had their first pedicure! It is very important to keep the little toenails clipped or else they will scratch Lila's belly and that is very painful for the mom to have to endure. There is a lot of things that a concerned breeder does that backyard breeders or puppy farms never even think about let alone do. Since this litter is a joint venture between Dinah and myself the work is being distributed which makes it easier for both of us. I like to keep the blog updated so you can watch them grow. Those of you who are getting one of these precious babies will be able to know your new family member before you get him/her! Here are a few pictures of them although they are still little white blobs.
